Thanks for posting that info, Andrew. All good stuff. If changes are afoot for this site, might it be worth merging into a single section General Lincs Birding and Lincs Bird Chat? There's not sufficient difference in the content to warrant two different sections. Also, might it not be preferable to change the title Rare Bird News to Latest Sightings? Before anyone tells me, yes I know I'm being pedantic, and yes I know I ought to get out more. Re the latter, I'm just off to the Bull's Head.

Jim, In the dim and distance past I was partially responsible for the creation of the "Chat" Section. This was a result of a lot of submissions on the site which had little or no bearing to bird sightings in Lincolnshire. The Chat Section gives members the opportunity to voice their personal opinions which don't relate to actual sightings. You are probably the most prolific contributor of this type of information so I would suggest we leave things as they are.

On the same subject, it's an old chestnut, but has anyone got any positive suggestions on how to encourage more posts to this part of the website? You're a grandee of the club, Stuart - I'm counting on you to set the ball rolling. Or is it a matter best left to the committee?
