Just taken our very first foreign holiday, and was able to get in a little bit of birding. We went to Playa de Las Americas, and over the week found

Spanish Sparrows
Canary Islands Chiffchaff
African Collared Dove
Eurasian Collared Dove
Common Swift
Plain Swift
Senegal Parrot
Berthelot Pipit
Yellow Leg Gull
Cory's Shearwater
Blackbird
Blackcap

We were really surprised at the lack of sea birds along the coast, such a different experience to the UK coast. I'm aware it's not a big list but found it such a different situation to how we would go birding in the UK.
