Follow the Nottingham Trent University's Peregrines 2017 via :

http://www.ntu.ac.uk/sustainability/bio ... index.html

for access to the live stream.

Last year the webcam footage was viewed more than 250,000 times in just a few months as the pair raised a successful brood of chicks.
The webcam went live on St. Valentine's Day and the adult Peregrines have already been seen in and around their nesting platform.

In the background one can see"The Wheel of Nottingham", situated in the Old Market Square, until 12th March (60 m high)...."with a special light show consisting of complex patterns created with 75,000 bulbs".
I don't think the Peregrines will be very impressed.

Today (Monday, c. 1.30pm) the female sat preening on the ledge next to the nesting platform. She then hopped onto the platform and moved around on the gravel before momentarily squatting. She flew off soon after.

All four chicks have now hatched. All look healthy and are feeding well. Plenty of food is arriving including two pigeons at much the same time.
