I made the trip over to see the stunning male Pine Bunting at Dunnington near York today and after seeing it for about three minutes early a.m.,it eventually showed brilliantly for at least 30 minutes early afternoon.The flock of Buntings and Finches it is associating with range over three or four fields,so it can be tricky to get to grips with,but what a stonking bird.Also seen in the same flock were at least 10 Corn Bunting and a single female Brambling.
