Took the challenge of the walk/climb up Peny-Ghent (one of the three peaks in ribblesdale)
Very eerily quiet with the mist rolling in..and then all of a sudden the call of the curlew surrounds me, all over the valley I could hear them..from now on everytime I listen to them I will think of that magical long hard exhausting journey to the summit.
I must be very unfit because I was shattered & a lady who looked a lot older than me ran past going up and then later passed me again!
