That is a formidable list for a mere week, Ben. How many of those were lifers?

Steve.

Thanks Steve!

11 of those were new birds for me! To be fair we were birding from dawn until dusk each day, often before and after.

Cheers,

Ben

Thanks!

Obviously got very lucky with the timing of the trip. Certainly we could have added more bits to the list had we been dashing round after everything reported, though the Barred Warbler and Buckton Olive-backed Pipit were blatant twitches! We were fortunate to be in the right place at the right time when the Siberian Stonechat and the Dusky Warbler (which became very difficult soon after) were discovered per L Johnson & C Thomas, otherwise mainly tried to do our own thing.

Cheers,

Ben
