Hi,

Just spent a week travelling through the south west of England, 4 counties in 7 days. So on the 13th/14th June we were in Dorset, 15th Devon, 16th-18th in Cornwall and finally 19th in Somerset finally travelling home on the 20th.

A lot of main tourist sites were visited, as it was our first time down here, but never-the-less I managed some new species.

We spent half a day on a boat off Falmouth and managed:
Harbour Porpoise (7),
Minke Whale (1),
Barrel Jellyfish - lots,
Gannet - lots,
Fulmar - lots,
Kittewake (12),
Manx Shearwater (150+),
Razorbill (4),
Guilemot - lots,
Puffin (1),
Storm Petrel (5)
(Thanks to AK Wildlife Cruises, excellent boat trip with great potential for photos as birds come very close.)

Visited Wistman's Wood on Dartmoor, where there was breeding Spotted Flycatcher and Redstart, with Wheatear, Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff present.

Also got some lifers in the form of Butterflies:

Lulworth Skipper at Durdle Door, Dorset
Adonis Blue at The Lighthouse, Portland Bill
Silver-studded Blue at Tout Quarry, Portland Bill.
