An afternoon around the Manton Bay Area of Rutland Water produced the following- Great White Egret 1 Little Egret 3 Water Rail 1 Great Northern Diver 1 Swallow 1 - 1st of the year for me Marsh Tit 2-3 Tree Sparrow 7-10 Red Kite 5-6 Not bad for 2 hours with the family, up to 8 Ospreys have now returned, but not seen by me.
