While photographing a poor defeat for Lincoln City at Welling, the mood was lifted by a pair of Ring Necked Parakeets flying over the ground during the first half. Didn't realise they were that far outside of the centre of London. |

Not sure how far Welling is from Esher but that is at least twenty miles from the centre and it was common to see hundreds of Ring-necked Parakeets. Two must be good score for somebody watching Lincoln nowadays. You would be much happier tramping the salt marshes of Lincolnshire on a Saturday afternoon I'm sure! |
