After being kept a quiet for some time the news is out and all over Flicker, Facebook and birding forums.

So I thought just in case any LBC member has never seen an Otter at very close quarters and, or Black-bellied Dipper. Then you might want to give yourselves a treat and have a day out at 'Nuns Bridges' in Thetford, Norfolk.

The resident Otters appear to be totally unconcerned about any activity taking place along the river bank including passers-by, dogs, or even the hordes of photographers present today.
Although signs are much in evidence throughout the area now, asking Photographers not to harass or feed these very confiding Otters.

I doubt the Dippers will hang around for much longer but there's no rush to see the Otters, as they are resident on the two rivers here in Thetford and even regularly venture right into the town centre.
