It depends how much you like walking, if like me you don't then I suggest you visit the the two places I do. At the northern end is Ten Acre Lake and the southern end is Boston Park which has a large car park. And in between the two is a massive area. Check out their website, and postings on this section for both Hatfield and Potteric.

I'm sure other members will supply some info.

Regards

John

Thanks for the information John. As one of the younger members I dont mind a good long walk. I shall keep an eye on the two websites, my main target is going to be Black necked grebes never seen one in summer plummage before.

Thanks Anthony

Anthony,
If you didn't visit Hatfield Moors today (Sun), then you'll be interested to know ( "Birdguides" ) :

Sun 03 April : Red-necked Grebe still on Ten Acre Lake

If you did go today, you may well have seen the Grebe.
Freddy
PS.....as you probably know, we don't report BN Grebes 'in breeding plumage' on the web.......that is, if you see such BNGs there. ..Good luck, anyway !

I have been keeping tabs on their blog/website aswell as potteric. Sadly worked 9 hours today so unable to go this weekend.

On regards to the BNG, I thought I was safe as I didn't give any information on the bird. Just that it is one of my targets. Sorry if I was in the wrong

Many thanks Anthony
