Langsett Reservoir area, NW of Sheffield. 6 March 2010 Poor weather meant no sign of displaying goshawks but masses of red grouse and quite a few displaying curlews and lapwings. Several singing siskins around main car park. Best of all (but not for the animal concerned) was finding a roadkill mountain hare, my first in England. Cheers Brian |
