Early morning walk along Horncastle canal, (8.30 - 9.30) highlights were:- Grey Wagtail 2 ( One on stonework below bridge over old river Bain course near swimming pool, second one was on 'debris raft' near boom off the river Waring the other side of bridge.) Chiffchaff 4 ( 1 seen, + 3 heard along canal.) Pied Wagtail 2 ( on nearby cricket pitch. ) Mistle Thrush 1 ( searching for food on meadowland along canal. ) Cheers Rob |
