Hi, pleased to be part of this forum - been an avid garden bird watcher/feeder for as long as I can remember but now my enthusiasm has boiled over and I can be seen/found at many local sites with my camera in hand.

I am relatively new to Lincolnshire having moved here 18mths ago and am located just North of Boston so my regular sites are Freiston Shore/Haven Bank, the Boston Cemetary, Antons Gowt, Kirkby Gravel Pits etc so if you see a 'new face' do come over and say hello.

As well as the usual birds in the garden we have been fortunate in the past 12mths to see Barn Owls (local resident), Kestrels (regular visitor), Sparrow Hawk (on 4 seperate occasions), flocks of Fieldfare, Redwing, Partridge and Starlings as well as Brown Hare (regular visitor) and Fox.

I have had my first ever sightings of TreeCreepers, Redshank, Shellduck, Stonechat and Reed Bunting since moving here (as well as numerous others that haven't been able to put a name to!) so I am well chuffed :)

As I type I am looking at four very hungry Goldfinch's on the feeder 6feet away and every day we see between 2 and 20 so If anybody wants a closer look then consider this an open invitation!

I Look forward to chatting with you as time goes by.
