Hello,
My name’s Josh and it’s great to finally become a member of the LBC. I’m Grimsby-based and intend to post sightings of note from the area over the coming years. 23 years of age and have been birding with intention for a few years with much to learn and see. I try to cover a range of habitat including coast, marsh, river, woodland, meadows and urban.

Unfortunately most of my local patch is under threat of development so it is my intention this year to record each species accurately in the hope that this may prove useful in any potential planning application. I’ll spare the details for now!

I hope to dig out the best of what Grimsby has to offer over the coming years and meet other birders from around here. Feel free to contact me via the forum or on Twitter: @joshjforrester
