Hi Everyone,

My name is Clive Kent and I'm 69 years old, so definitely retired. Living in Stamford gives me ease of access to several counties for birdwatching and having spent many years in the RAF as an engineer either in Lincolnshire or East Anglia I find those areas to be of most interest to me, plus of course Rutland Water which is on my doorstep. I must say I liked the look of the LBC website and this forum appears to have lots of information on it for me to read.
I've always had an interest in birds from a very early age, although I still only regard myself as a keen beginner as I do have difficulty still with identifying certain Waders, Gulls and those little brown birds that all look the same. So in joining a club like this one I hope to eventually meet up with some of the members that go birdwatching in my surrounding area .
