Post subject:  Hello from Ian Gordon

Hi Everybody
My name is Ian and I live in the Deep South of Linclonshire - Crowland, although I was born in the north of th county and have moved around the UK and also lived in the Netherlands. I have been birding since childhood, on and of, and having recently retired so now have more time to devote it. Also spend a lot of time between March and November on the Norfolk coast. My local patch is Deeping Lakes, the most southerly reserve in Lincs and also the largest area of inland open water in the county. I have just posted my first report following a visit yesterday.
I look forward to posting and reading reports on the forum and, hopefully, meeting some of you in the field.
Good birding.
Ian

Hi Ian,
When a new member joins the Forum, Dean Eades is usually the first to wish them a warm welcome. I can only assume he is currently "in communicado" so I will wish you a warm welcome instead! You obviously have something going for you if you hale from the north of the county! We look forward to reading your postings.
