Hi,

I moved to Lincolnshire for a new job (Field Ecologist - private company) in Feb 2004 and have been birding in earnest since university.

I would class myself more of a birdwatcher than a lister or twitcher, but find the website very useful to see where I'm most likely to catch up with certain species.

Originally from the Isle of Man, I have a reasonable knowledge of manx bird life however, the start of my serious birding began after I left, much to my annoyance when I read the bird reports of what I've missed over the years, but endeavour to catch up over the years.

As an ecologist also keen in other areas especially plants.

thats it really, on lunch must dash.

look forward to exchanging kniowledge and sightings in the future.
