Hi,

Have only just found this intro section. I'm new to birding - not serious but I'm lucky enough to have access to a large garden surrounded by farmland which seems to be becoming a birding paradise. We're North Lincolnshire, on the Wolds. A few years back I could just about recognise a robin but as more exotic (to me) stuff has started to turn up in the garden I've become more interested. I take a lot of simple, handheld pics with a compact digital camera through binoculars or a scope and have had some surprisingly good results. Also useful for proving that you do have nuthatches in the garden even if you don't know what you're talking about!

Can anyone tell me how to post pictures to the site/start an album? I sent a couple to the webmaster days ago but haven't heard anything back and more photos have turned up on the site since. Is this the correct way to do things and there's just a delay or can I post direct and save other folk the time and effort involved in sorting and posting them?

Anyway, hello and thanks for putting together such an impressive and informative site.
