Just like to say Hi and introduce myself. I am currently living in south Oxfordshire at the moment but I'm originally from Bourne and still have family scattered around South Lincolnshire. I get up on average once a month for a long weekend (when shifts allow) and try and get a days birding in. Just had an excellent weekend (16/17th) with a day trip to Gibraltar Point. Thanks to the gentleman who let me use his scope at one of the hides at Tennyson's Sands. Mine was in the boot of the car!!! Had good views of a barn owl at Baston Fen. Also what I think was a hen harrier, is this a possible bird for there? It was worth getting there at 5 in the morning before driving back to Oxfordshire!! Hope to see other members out and about.
