Up to 6 together today, getting very friendly :wink: What is a group of grass snakes called? There was so much writhing and wriggling going on that it was difficult to count heads. 3 males slithered off together plus one big female and a couple of other males came close to me heads up for an inspection but no photos today.

Thanks Andy.

A visit to the woodpile this afternoon produced 4 common lizards and 2 grass snakes, one adult and one youngster, probably born last year. The youngster was sharing a hiding hole with one of the lizards.

Large Grass snake at the rear of the dipping pond? (back of centre carpark). Shot straight down a rabbit hole!

Are these log piles located on the east of the wood - with warning signs over them asking not to tread?

The woodpile referred to is down the main ride in Ivy Wood. That is turn right after the car park and keep going...............
