I checked the Brickpits Pond at Chambers Farm Wood yesterday and there was already a good number of Toads breeding. This is three weeks earlier than normal. However, they are not yet at another site off Walesby Moor, Market Rasen. I suggest the warmth of the Woodland habitat may be a contributory factor. |
